Our strategy

After some competitor analysis and working closely with the March management team we developed a site that tells the story of who March are, who their clients are and how they work to get great results for those clients. Keeping the UX simple so that users are lead through the key take-homes within any given content area as well as adding personality through the use of characterful video and photography of the team at the March offices.

Execution

We developed a contemporary look and feel for the website that is both mobile and SEO friendly. As part of the project we developed a number of WordPress customisations to allow the March team to better manage the site and blog content.

Our engineering team set-up and continue to manage the AWS based server architecture to give improved performance in terms of page load times to mobile and to better server March’s growing international audience. The site was also moved over to https to achieve a better Google trust score.

Results

The website has been well received by March and their clients and has shown a satisfactory uplift in the search rankings. We have reduced page load times on mobile by 20-30% as compared to the previous site giving the site a boost under Google’s new ranking algorithm. The site is used by 5000+ visitors a month with an upturn of 33% using the site on mobile and a 30% increase in mobile session time.
